Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what we don’t touch. We built EcomClaw with privacy as a priority, so this is a short read.

What we collect

When you sign up for EcomClaw, we collect:

  • Email address for your account, billing, and support
  • Payment info handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number
  • Basic usage data like whether your server is running and general platform analytics

That’s it. That’s the full list of what we store on our end.

What we don’t collect

This is the important part. We do not collect or store:

  • Your Shopify data (products, orders, customers, revenue)
  • Your ad account data (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok Ads)
  • Your API keys or access tokens
  • Your conversations with your AI agent
  • Your agent’s memory or any files on your server

All of that lives on your dedicated server and only on your server. Our support team does not access it during normal operations. For the full technical breakdown, read our security page.

Your dedicated server

Every EcomClaw client gets their own private server. Your credentials, your agent’s data, your conversation history, all of it stays on that server. Our support team uses an obfuscated admin panel that shows server health information without exposing your business data, credentials, or conversations.

If you need hands-on help, you can grant our team temporary access to your server. In rare cases, our infrastructure team may also access your server for maintenance or security updates, but they do not view or use your business data when doing so.

How we use your data

The data we do collect (email, billing info, basic usage) is used to:

  • Run your account and process payments
  • Send you important updates about the service
  • Provide support when you reach out
  • Monitor that your server is healthy and running

We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with advertisers. We don’t use it for training AI models.

Cookies and analytics

We use basic analytics to understand how people use our website and product. We use PostHog for this. We don’t track you across other websites and we don’t sell any analytics data.

Third-party services

We use a few third-party services to run EcomClaw:

  • Stripe for payment processing
  • Fly.io for dedicated server hosting
  • Vercel for web app hosting
  • PlanetScale for our application database
  • Anthropic for AI (Claude powers your agent)
  • Resend for transactional emails
  • PostHog for product analytics
  • Telegram as the primary chat interface for your agent

Each of these services has their own privacy policy. Your business data (store data, ad data, credentials) never touches our application database or web hosting. That data only exists on your dedicated server hosted on Fly.io.

What happens when you cancel

When you cancel your subscription, your server stays active until the end of your billing period. After that, we shut it down. We don’t keep your server data after removal. Your account info (email, billing history) is kept for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

You can:

  • Ask us what data we have about you
  • Ask us to delete your account and data
  • Export your data at any time from your server

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top and notify you by email if the change is significant.
